Pete Eckert - Fotógrafo Cego

Este é de "tirar o chapéu"! 

Ei! Vc que está aí   se lamentando que não têm aquela objetiva bacanérrima, que está sem grana pra trocar sua  câmera usada por uma top de linha , que anda sem criatividade, grana e mais sei lá o que - ou seja vc anda derrotado. Suas desculpas acabaram!!!! Não me venha mais com esta conversa mole!  rssss

Este post é dedicado ao fotógrafo  Pete Eckert, que perdeu sua visão por contada de uma doença chamada retinose pigmentar. Ele não se vitimizou! Investiu no mundo fotográfico, foi atrás de aprender, vencendo as dificuldades - sim, pq nosso mundo está mais adaptado para os que enxergam!
Eis algumas frases interessantes deste cara que enxerga longe:

"Podemos olhar para o local de trabalho mas não estão autorizados a entrar. Eu faço outra coisa. Eu deslizo fotos por baixo da porta do mundo dos cegos para ser visto à luz da visão. Vejo o meu trabalho durante o evento de tirar a foto na minha mente. Eu "vejo" cada cena de forma muito clara, só eu usar o toque, som e memória. Eu sou mais um artista conceitual do que um fotógrafo. Minhas influências vêm de minha memória do passado da arte e o que eu encontrar agora no mundo em geral. "

E esta é pra detonar os preguiçosos, fracos:

"Eu sou uma pessoa visual. Eu simplesmente não consigo ver. "

Quando o cara é bom, é bom e ponto final.

This is a shot of church during Christmas mass. It has a spiritual feeling. The people appear in different densities. Some are ghosting, some are solid and look like old fashioned daguerreotypes. There is a repetition of threes going on in the photo. There are three images of the priest on the alter as he gives his sermon. The trinity is an underlying theme.
CATHEDRAL

Stations of the cross is the theme of this shot. There is a modern looking image of a guy on the cross. The image is placed in the isle of the church which is unusually brightly colored. One of the stations of the cross is in the background. The church has great wood work that is very nice to touch. The guy on the cross is whereing duck boots which amused me.
STATIONS


While listening to the history channel I came across an odd story. An Arab Sheik was pleased by the advice of a Jewish sage. In appreciation he presented the Sage with a woman to take as a wife. to take the woman The Jewish sage needed to "purify" the pagan woman. He did this by performing a ritual involving honey. this story comes from the Gnostic text of the pre-cannon bible. I decided to try to illustrate the story. The image I came up with is a pretty young girl in a glowing yellow swirling light. She is nude and covered in swirls of dripping honey. She holds a piece of honey comb.
HONEY

this photo is of a sleeping woman hovering above a small fishing boat on a surreal sea. She is floating as if in a dream.NIGHT DREAM
